Making children in need happy for Christmas, this is the idea behind the “Gift with a Heart” campaign by the aid organization Humedica. As in previous years, Doris Rauscher, member of the SPD state parliament, made her citizens’ office in Ebersberg available as a collection point. And here in the past few weeks a lot of presents have been given, as the social politician reports: “Over 80 parcels have come together this year. This way, we give children joy with little Christmas surprises and show them that we think of them , corresponds to the basic idea of Christmas for me. ” First the gifts come to the Humedica warehouse, from where they are brought to different countries and distributed to children in need. Most of the parcels go to Eastern Europe, but some also stay in Germany for children in need.
