Cycling without a helmet, driving with alcohol: The police warn of these traffic offenses in view of two accidents at the weekend. Younger people and an 84-year-old were also involved in an accident on Friday around 6 p.m. in Haar. This time, however, the blame lay with the drunk 46-year-old at the wheel of a Fiat. He drove down Wasserburger Strasse out of town and at the level of Leibstrasse, unbraked, onto an Opel belonging to an 84-year-old who was stopping there at the red traffic light. All vehicle occupants were injured, some of them had to be taken to hospitals. The 46-year-old was drunk, he is reported, among other things, for negligent bodily harm and endangering road traffic.
