Accidents in Ebersberg: Cyclists slip in sugar molasses – Ebersberg

A curious accident happened near Bruck last Saturday. A 24-year-old man from the Ebersberg district was traveling there with his tractor and trailer when he noticed shortly before entering Pullenhofen that his load – a few hundred liters of sugar molasses – was spread out on the road. Behind him was a 31-year-old cyclist, also from the Ebersberg district, who noticed the dirty road too late and fell on the slippery surface. According to the police, he injured his shoulder and arms slightly, and there was also considerable damage to his bicycle. The driver of the tractor is now facing a charge of negligent bodily harm. The Bruck volunteer fire brigade was on site with numerous emergency services to clean the street and regulate traffic.

Also in the city of Ebersberg, a cyclist was injured in a fall on Saturday. A 16-year-old pedestrian wanted to cross the road just before the junction with the ring road, but overlooked a 77-year-old on his bike. He fell and hit the back of his head on the road. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The pedestrian now expects a display of negligent bodily harm in road traffic.
