A public bus drives into a bus in front of it on a Danube bridge. Many people are injured – five are in mortal danger.
In the event of a rear-end collision between two buses,… Around 50 people were injured in Regensburg – five of them life-threatening. As the police announced, the two buses were traveling one behind the other into the city on the Nibelungen Bridge over the Danube at 5:19 p.m. when the collision occurred.
A large contingent of rescue workers, fire brigade and police are on duty. A rescue helicopter was also on site. The police are also trying to clarify what happened to the accident with the help of an expert. A police spokeswoman was unable to provide further details at the moment.
