Accident in Anzing: 13-year-old cyclist hit by car – Ebersberg

A 13-year-old cyclist was lucky in misfortune when he was hit by a car early Tuesday evening. At around 5:30 p.m., the cyclist suddenly drove from the sidewalk on Zornedinger Straße out of town onto the roadway in order to cross it. Here he overlooked the almost parallel driving car of a 54-year-old. According to the police, he had no chance to avoid the cyclist, so he rolled over the hood and came to rest on the road.

Although the boy was able to get up again immediately after the fall, an ambulance was called to the scene of the accident because he vomited shortly afterwards. Only a few abrasions were found on the outside of the cyclist. Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, he was taken to a Munich hospital for further clarification. The driver, who was able to brake his vehicle immediately, was not injured in the accident. The bonnet and the fender had some scratches and dents, the police estimate the damage at around 1500 euros. The wheel was apparently only slightly damaged. The damage was estimated at around 50 euros.

During the recording of the accident, there were traffic delays for about half an hour due to the rush hour traffic, as the vehicles could only drive past the accident site in one lane.
