A driver involved in an accident pulled his car out of a ditch in Burgebrach (Bamberg district) with the help of a friend. The drunk 23-year-old had strayed off the road with his car between stairs village and Hirschbrunn on Saturday night. The man organized the recovery of his car “without further ado on his own”, as the police said. Then he continued his journey. A little later, the police found him slightly injured in a hospital. The man is being investigated for drunk driving, endangering road traffic and unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident. In addition, his driver’s license was revoked.
