A 20-year-old employee of a car rental company at the airport was traveling far too fast on Friday night. He was traveling on the Nordring at Munich Airport in the direction of Zentralallee, veered off the road to the right in the area of a left-hand bend and broke through the fence to the airport security area. The vehicle then crashed into a tree. The man from Nuremberg was only slightly injured in the impact and escaped with shock and bruises. The car suffered a total loss of 60,000 euros.
