The worst thing was the stochastic task with the gummy bears, remembers Michael Wölfl. The 18-year-old from Weiden in the Upper Palatinate wrote his Abitur this year, it was also okay, only the written math test was “horrible,” he says. His biggest problem was probability, but otherwise the tasks were much more difficult than the previous years’ exams with which he had prepared.
