From a police source, the few witnesses heard two detonations. The firefighters were called Wednesday evening, shortly before 11 p.m., in the Empalot district of Toulouse. On the spot, near the metro station, they rescued a young man “about 25 years old […]wounded by firearm in the abdomen”.
The perimeter of the shots was secured by the police during the rescue operations but no suspects were arrested in the evening. Transported in absolute urgency to the University Hospital of Rangueil, the victim was operated on during the night and has not yet been able to be heard by the investigators.
The Toulouse public prosecutor’s office has entrusted the continuation of the investigations into this attempted homicide to the regional judicial police service (SRPJ).
