A ULM crash mobilizes firefighters, it was a remote-controlled model

A dozen firefighters mobilized on the ground to come to the aid of possible victims and even the dispatch of a Civil Security helicopter. This device was deployed on Saturday in the sector of the town of Saint-Génis-des-Fontaines (Pyrénées-Orientales), south of Perpignan, after witnesses believed they saw a ULM in distress, reports The Independent.

But there was very fortunately no victim and even less of crashed ULM. According to the regional daily, the sinking machine was in fact a model plane, certainly huge with its three-meter wingspan, radio-controlled by a model aircraft enthusiast. The fake aircraft did not experience any particular incident and landed normally on the ground.
