This Monday, at 12:40 p.m., a tree fell on the courtyard of the nursery school in Monbazillac, in the Dordogne. According to a first assessment communicated by the Dordogne prefectureeight children were injured, six of whom were taken to hospital in Bergerac.
The National Education services and the sub-prefect came to the site to take stock of the situation. Psychologists have also been sent to the children and the educational team. According to South Westthe injured children were playing in the playground after finishing their lunch, while the rest of the staff was in the canteen.
