A teenager who went fishing was found dead, two people in police custody

A 16-year-old teenager whose disappearance had been reported to the gendarmes the day before by his mother was finally found dead on Tuesday near a pond in Moselle. Pond located not far from his home and where the victim would have gone fishing, specifies the Lorraine Republican. Two people were taken into custody, said Metz public prosecutor Yves Badorc.

The teenager’s body was found in Loudrefing, a small town east of Nancy, with 300 inhabitants. Two people, one aged 24 and the other 40, known to the police, were taken into custody. A murder investigation was opened and entrusted to the Metz research section and the Sarrebourg gendarmerie, said the prosecutor. A medico-legal examination must be carried out soon to know the exact circumstances of the death.
