A private island located in the ria d’Étel is looking for a new owner

The announcement, spotted by The Telegram, has just been posted on the website of the luxury real estate agency Sotheby’s. Nestled in the ria d’Étel in Morbihan, the small island of Fandouillec is for sale. To afford this little corner of paradise of 3.64 hectares located ten minutes by boat from the mainland and the town of Belz, those interested will have to pay 2.782 million euros.

For this price, future owners will be able to enjoy the tranquility of the island and its beach as well as the ria d’Étel which is home to many species of birds. They will stay in “a charming stone house of about 140 m² equipped with all the comforts with water and electricity from the continent”, indicates the adspecifying that the house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms as well as a shelter for boats and for storing gardening equipment.

According The Telegram, the current owner of the island, located in a Natura 2000 area, had been sentenced by the Lorient court for carrying out work on his house without any building permit having been filed. The court ordered him to restore the premises within six months and sentenced him to a suspended fine of 5,000 euros.
