Several individuals engaged in a motorcycle rodeo on Place Bellecour in Lyon, this Sunday afternoon. The scene was filmed by Pierre Oliver, the LR mayor of the second arrondissement, who hastened to post it on social networks in order to challenge Grégory Doucet, the mayor of Lyon.

A blow from Dalton?
The authors could be members of the Lyon rap group “Les Daltons”, according to the site Lyon Mag. The latter posted a 42-minute video on their Instagram account in which we actually see pilots, hooded and dressed in the Dalton brothers’ outfit, bravely driving the front wheel. Place Bellecour, but also along the T2 tramway and on the periphery.

Both have sued the city of Lyon and the state for breach of their obligations, believing that they had delayed in taking, if not taken, adequate measures to curb the phenomenon of urban rodeos. The hearing was set for November 10 before the Lyon Administrative Court.
