Monday, behind closed doors of a house in Lagardelle, a town in the Lot region between Cahors and Fumel, a man in his forties is suspected of having shot his wife before ending her life.
“Two people died in Lagardelle. It is a couple. The man would have killed the woman with a firearm” then he would have “turned this weapon against him” indicated the prosecutor of Cahors, Alexandre Rossi.
The couple had an 11-year-old child
According to the first elements of the investigation, the couple of forties was “obviously in the process of separation”. The prosecution opened an investigation for “spousal homicide”, entrusted to the gendarmerie services.
The day of the tragedy, the couple had accompanied their 11-year-old child to school before returning home. The latter was entrusted to a specialized structure.
