A 32-year-old man was shot dead overnight from Sunday to Monday in Buzet-sur-Baise in Lot-et-Garonne. Around 12:30 a.m., he was shot in the head outside his home as he returned from a party with his wife and two children. This Monday noon, two people are still heard by the gendarmes, specifies South West.
The victim is an agricultural worker of Portuguese origin. He had just gotten out of his vehicle when he was shot. The scene occurred, in a street in the center of the village, under the eyes of his family. It was his wife who called the emergency services. The motive remains unclear for the moment even if, according to the first elements of the investigation, the man had had several incidents with other people during this evening. A psychological unit has been set up.
