New jewelry robbery this Friday in Paris, rue Vieille-du-Temple, in the 4th arrondissement. The criminals left with loot (jewelry and cash) estimated at 400,000 euros. At first, this booty was valued at two million euros.

The robbery was committed shortly before 12:30 p.m. by two men, armed with an electric pulse pistol and a tear gas canister. They were given jewelry and cash without violence, a source close to the file added.

Already a similar case three days earlier

The two criminals then fled. The Paris prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into the charge of “theft with a weapon and an organized gang”. The investigations were entrusted to the Brigade for the repression of banditry (BRB), said the Paris prosecutor’s office.

This robbery comes three days after the one committed in a Chaumet jewelry store near the Champs-Elysées. Two people were arrested following this one, in Moselle.
