A new winner in France. A Frenchman won the 162 million euros at stake this Friday at the Euromillions, according to the Lotery and becomes the fifth biggest winner in France.
The lucky winner won exactly 162,289,050 euros, after checking the five correct numbers (1-20-41-42-50) and the two lucky stars (3 and 7). This jackpot comes a little over a month after another Frenchwoman, resident in Tahiti, won 220 million euros, the biggest jackpot in the history of the Euromillions.
Previously, in December 2020, a player from the South of France won the 200 million euros at stake.
The new winner, whose identity is not yet known, has 60 days to collect his check from the Française des Jeux. He will then be able to benefit from financial support. Details on the locality in which the winning grid was validated will be disclosed once payment of the prize has been made.
