The intervention mobilized a dozen firefighters. Monday afternoon, a floating body was spotted in the Loire, at the height of the Antilles quay in Nantes. According to the departmental fire and rescue service of Loire-Atlantique, it could be a man aged around 45.
The body of the victim, recovered around 3:30 p.m., was handed over to the national police. An investigation has been opened to try to identify this man, and in particular to find out whether or not his profile corresponds to that of a person who has recently disappeared in the region.
