A yellow team in full shipwreck in “Koh-Lanta”. Tuesday evening, on TF1, nearly 3 million viewers witnessed the defeat of Frederic’s tribe and the elimination of Melissa at the end of the council.
An episode marked by many tensions – and a nice settling of scores – between the members of the Sabitang, but also by a little chocolate indigestion and a new cursed record for Cassandre.
“I ate all the chocolate”
In the first part of the evening, the adventurers faced each other for the comfort test on a great classic of the game: suspended pottery to explode with blows of a club. The key? The traditional phone call to the family and 1 kg of chocolate (it’s huge, yes). As usual, Cassandre distinguished herself by drawing yet another black ball, the 8th, a new record confirming her unfortunate status as the black cat of the adventure. A stroke of fate that did not however prevent the Reds from winning the comfort, allowing Ugo, its captain, to rejoice in a team “in tune”.
Once the emotional sequence was over and the candidates’ tears were held back (or not) with their loved ones on the phone, everyone gorged themselves on chocolate, a well-deserved reward. But was it really a good idea? “A kilo of chocolate in the belly is violent,” admitted Gustin, the Swiss candidate. When will there be a crossover between “Koh-Lanta” and “Le Meilleur pâtissier” on M6?
The Yellows’ boat is taking on water
Faced with this failure, and with an empty stomach, Frédéric, the captain of the Yellows, deplored the lack of aggressiveness and the “too Care Bear” side of his team. An observation that was not enough to revive the dynamic since the Sabitang once again lost to the Pitogo during the immunity test.
This time, the two teams were invited to face each other in a frantic chase, won by the Reds thanks in particular to Ugo’s spectacular dive. A new coronation for the “Phoenix” and his acolytes.
Note that if everything is going well for the Reds, some tensions still remain in their camp. As proof, the spat between Gustin and Sarah on the question of food rationing. The problem? On one side a candidate lacking calories (despite the chocolate), on the other an adventurer inflexible on the quantity of portions. Enough to greatly heat up tempers.
Settling of scores at the final council
For their opponents and especially for Mélissa, it’s a new blow. For a few days in the hot seat, the candidate feels frankly in danger. The idea then comes to her to come up with a tactic by attacking one of the greatest strategists in the game: Frédéric. Her plan? Convince her comrades to eliminate this team captain who threatens the rest of the adventure. And it works… Well, almost. Because once at the end of the council, final twist, the adventurers do not vote against their leader, but against the one who tried to overthrow him. A “stab in the back”, assures Mélissa.
Then follows a settling of scores as we like them, namely who betrayed whom and why (basically, why no one followed Mélissa’s strategy). Exchanges that obviously do not change anything in the final elimination and the departure of the candidate, with a heavy heart, particularly with regard to the defection of her comrades Charlotte and Sophia. “I trusted them with my eyes closed while they were the first to vote against me,” Mélissa lamented to “Leisure TV”Will the yellow ship be able to right the ship?
