An amateur diver made an unexpected discovery on June 4 in Lake Annecy. The site of
L’Essor Savoyard thus reveals Monday that the man fell, in full practice of his sporting discipline at the height of Doussard (Haute-Savoie), on a car stuck in the mud of the lake, with a body inside.
Warned, the gendarmes called their counterparts from the Aix-les-Bains nautical brigade to retrieve the body, being identified. According to France Bleu, the corpse could have been there for several years. A gendarmerie investigation was opened.
