A fire broke out on Friday afternoon in an apartment in
13th district of Paris, killing one and wounding four, we learned from the emergency services.
The fire, of still undetermined origin, broke out around 4 p.m. and 70 firefighters were mobilized to contain, two hours later, the disaster that occurred in the apartment on the 18th floor.
“Unfortunately, a person was found dead in the apartment,” lamented Captain Philippe Schupp, of the Paris fire department communication office. Four other people, including two firefighters, were slightly injured. Investigations are underway to determine the causes of the fire.
