After lighting a smoke bomb and unfurling a banner on which was written “To our children, teach our roots, do not impose drag queens”, the individuals quickly left the scene before the arrival of the gendarmes.
On its Twitter account, the Rennes group L’Oriflamme, heir to L’Action française, claimed responsibility for the action. Its activists denounce in particular “a moment of propaganda orchestrated by the LGBT lobby in order to shape the consciences of the young generations still devoid of any critical spirit”, pointing the finger at a municipality which “encourages decadence. »
A workshop on the theme of gender equality
The municipal council of Saint-Senoux reacted by defending the interest of this reading workshop, which had the theme of gender equality and which aimed at “the deconstruction of stereotypes and focused on the acceptance of oneself and others. “We will not give in to fear, and will continue to work for the common good of all and for the freedom to be oneself and to express it”, continues the Breton municipality.
