A drama almost took place on Tuesday in Meyzieu, in the metropolis of Lyon. As the site reveals
Lyon Mag, an infant was indeed discovered by residents in a garbage bag deposited on avenue de Verdun. They immediately sounded the alarm to save the one-day-old baby.
With the arrival of seven firefighters and two police crews, the health of the newborn was fortunately not worrying. He was ventilating well and the emergency services did not need to provide him with first aid. The victim was then transported to the Woman-Mother-Child hospital in Bron (Rhône).
A police investigation was opened on Tuesday evening to shed light on this child abandonment and to find the person who abandoned him.
