A 41-year-old man has been jailed for nine years for smuggling millions of pounds worth of drugs on the dark web using crypto.

West Yorkshire resident Simon Barclay has been convicted of smuggling millions of pounds worth of drugs on the dark web using Crypto.

Barclay, 41, pleaded guilty on Tuesday at Leeds Crown Court to a range of crimes. This includes possession of Class A and B drugs and crime proceeds held in approximately 5.5 million pounds ($6.6 million) in digital assets by the end of 2021.
