A 1.50 meter boa escapes from its vivarium

A specialized animal intervention unit from the Gard firefighters intervened at the end of the week to search for a boa which had escaped from its cage. The reptile measuring 1.50 m – a “small” size for the species – was quickly found by rescuers.

He had stayed in a small annex room, such as a laundry room, where he had wrapped himself around a water drain pipe, reports France 3.

The animal was able to find its vivarium without having had a bad encounter or scared the hell out of anyone who might have stumbled across it by chance.
