After a driver in Bremerhaven ran with a hammer in the direction of demonstrating farmers the police are investigating because of threats. The incident took place in the Wulsdorf district, as a police spokesman says. Nobody was injured. The spokesman reports that it is being examined whether the action is related to the protests. The police did not provide any further information for the time being.

A participant in the farmers’ protests was hit by a driver in Lower Saxony and is believed to have been seriously injured. The Oldenburg Police Department announced this on the X platform, formerly Twitter.
The incident occurred near Friesoythe. A police spokesman says the participant is believed to be seriously injured. He was taken to a clinic in a rescue helicopter. The police were initially unable to provide any more precise information. It is still unclear whether the driver intentionally injured the participant when driving around or not.
