War makes you sick. The news from Ukraine is full of it: Russia’s war of aggression claims lives every day. And every day there are more injured people – people who have been wounded by mines, grenades and projectiles. Those who have lost a leg, a hand or perhaps their eyesight. What the news about the dead and wounded only gives an idea of is how incredibly large the number of those who are also mentally ill from the war must be. People who are severely traumatized by bombed-out buildings, wailing sirens and dark shelters. They have to try to come to terms with the psychological consequences.
