After the deadly shots in Nuremberg: the police offer a reward – Bavaria

After deadly shots were fired in the southern part of Nuremberg last October, the police offered a 10,000 euro reward for information about the suspected perpetrator who fled. She published on Monday also another mugshot of the suspect. In addition, the case is said to be the subject of the ZDF program “Aktenzeichen XY…unsolved” this Wednesday.

The 28-year-old man, whose name is known, is suspected of having fired shots at two men in front of a Nuremberg restaurant on the evening of October 24. One of the two died a little later in the hospital from gunshot wounds, the other survived. He is now “better again,” said the spokeswoman for the public prosecutor’s office.

In December, investigators searched three properties in Frankfurt am Main looking for the suspect. There had previously been indications that he could be staying there, said a spokeswoman for the Nuremberg-Fürth public prosecutor at the time. The investigators also searched a gazebo in a garden colony on Monday evening, and a helicopter was also used. However, investigators did not find the suspect.

The police have now set up a special commission and warned on Monday against approaching the fugitive independently: “He is considered dangerous and could be armed.”
