Lisa Marie Presley in hospital after cardiac arrest

The daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley reportedly collapsed at her home near Los Angeles. According to US media reports, her heart stopped beating.

Lisa Marie Presley and her mother Priscilla Presley celebrated the win of actor Austin Butler, who plays her father in the movie “Elvis”, at the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday. Only two days later, the musician is said to be fighting for her life. As the US portal “TMZ” reports, she suffered a cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon local time at her home in Calabasas near Los Angeles.

The news site claims to have learned from the immediate environment of the 54-year-old that the rescue workers called had to revive Lisa Marie Presley. After artificial respiration and cardiac massage, a weak pulse could be felt. The singer was immediately taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. It is not known what her current condition is. The family has not yet spoken out.

Lisa Marie Presley is the only daughter of the late rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley and his wife Priscilla. She was born on February 1, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee and, like her father, pursued a career in the music industry. She released her first album entitled ‘O Whom It May Concern’ in 2003. In it she dealt with the death of her famous father and her failed marriages.

In all, Lisa Marie Presley was married four times. She has two children with Danny Keough, actress Riley Keough and Benjamin, who died in 2020. Her second husband was pop star Michael Jackson, her third, actor Nicolas Cage. The 54-year-old was married to Michael Lockwood from 2006 to 2016, and they had twins Harper and Finley in 2008.
