The spring onions come straight from the ground onto the scanner. It looks great just laying it on, and scanned vegetables are kaleidoscope-refracted into beautifully psychedelic images for the series intro. Yes, there is little that you can’t tackle creatively as a self-sufficient person, that’s the promise when city dwellers from the big city want to go to the country and garden, cook, ferment. But what now in the Arte web series theory and practice offered by Lola Randl and Anke Stelling has another do-it-yourself dimension. Because a talk show is to be created here in the middle of rural Uckermark, and the viewer takes part in the planting, harvesting and fermentation, so to speak.
