43-year-old seriously injured – Bayern

A 30-year-old is said to have stabbed a man several times during a dispute in a workers’ accommodation in the Altötting district and seriously injured him. As the police announced on Saturday, those present stopped the alleged perpetrator, who then fled. The police arrested the 30-year-old shortly afterwards on Friday evening in Mehring. The 43-year-old victim was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his upper body. It was not initially known how the dispute and the violent escalation between the two men came about. The two lived in the workers’ accommodation in Mehring. The public prosecutor’s office requested an arrest warrant for the 30-year-old. The man was brought before the investigating judge and jailed. The police are now investigating an attempted homicide.
