4.8 million viewers for the great return of Star Academy

Nikos Aliagas has not lost his touch. After 14 years of absence, the Star Academy was back on TF1 on Saturday evening, in prime time. 4.8 million viewers followed the entry of the 13 academicians into the Château des Vives-Eaux.

The channel notes audience share scores never seen “since 2012” among 15-34 year olds (60%), 25-49 year olds (48%) and among women responsible for purchases under 50 ( 51%).

La Une was also “very largely the leader on targets” with the second part of the evening at Star Ac’. TF1 thus welcomed a “success for the launch of Star Academy despite the impact on our audiences of the Canal+ and TNT Sat cut”.

France 3 at the top

If the Star Academy has found its audience, it is France 3 which has come to the top of the audience with the fiction Murders in Nancy. The investigation by Cristiana Reali, Fabrice Deville and Nelly Lawson attracted 5.1 million viewers and 25.2% audience share.

Better than its cousin of the 2, where The Big Heads by Laurent Ruquier reached 2.05 million viewers. The magazine Close call of France 5 arrives fourth of the evening (807,000 followers), ahead Colombo on TMC (639.000) and Evasion area on M6 (631,000).
