33,000 homes affected by a power cut after a fire

Sunday by candlelight. A power cut deprived more than 30,000 homes in Hauts-de-Seine of power this Sunday afternoon. According to Enedis, the network manager, “at 4.30 p.m., 33,500 homes were cut, including 13,000 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, 20,000 in Levallois and 500 in Courbevoie”. This power interruption is due to a fire at an Enedis substation in Levallois, which was brought under control.

At 5 p.m., the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture indicated that electricity was gradually being restored in the homes. In Levallois, the town hall has made the town hall and the Marcel-Cerdan sports center available to residents for those who wish to recharge phones or laptops.
