27-year-old photographer missing on the coast

Operations were suspended around 3 a.m., after three hours of unsuccessful searches. On the night of Sunday 29th to Monday 30th August, a 27-year-old woman disappeared while she had gone to take photos on the coast in Plomodiern, in the south of the Crozon peninsula, in Finistère. According to the Maritime Prefecture, the young photographer had gone to
sunset images in the Ty Mark Cove area, south of Tal ar Grip Point.

Alerted at 11:50 p.m., the Cross Corsen coordinated the rescue mission. The Civil Security Dragon 29 helicopter went to the scene, helped by a SNSM motorboat from Douarnenez, two firefighters from Finistère and land patrols from the gendarmerie. A dog team from SDIS 29 was also present to try to find the young woman. The sea conditions were fairly calm on Sunday. The operations were stopped around 3 a.m.
