Wormhole is a protocol that allows assets to be moved across different blockchain protocols. When a user sends an asset from one chain to another, the bridge locks the asset and mint wrapped the token in the destination chain. The attacker was clearly acting.from the vulnerabilityHowever, it resulted in the theft of 93,750 ETH worth approximately $256 million at current prices.
