1inch is set to reward users with free tokens for use on Optimism — which 1inch says will drive further activity on its Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution.

1inch announced on Tuesday that it will distribute 300,000 OP tokens equally to Optimism wallets and users, with 3,782 wallets selected for the original cryptocurrency OP token airdrop. of Optimism allows holders to participate in the network’s governance system.
The current value of the OP token is $1.15, previously trading as high as $4.57 in May. But since then it has faced considerable volatility due to broad market conditions.
1inch began deploying on Optimism in August 2021, with co-founder Sergej Kunz mentioning faster transaction speeds after integration.
