Saturday evening, around 10 p.m., the Customs surveillance brigade was carrying out a control operation in the town of Beauchalot, south of Haute-Garonne, when its members intercepted a car coming from Spain. On board, they discovered no less than 145 kg of cannabis resin, said the public prosecutor of Saint-Gaudens, Christophe Amunzateguy.
The driver, of Spanish origin, was initially placed in customs detention, before being placed in police custody. He was still there this Monday at the end of the day according to the head of the prosecution who entrusted the investigation to the antenna of anti-narcotics office (OFAST) of Toulouse.
